Louis Majorelle, famous for his Art Nouveau furnishings, designed a exceptional Art Deco stained glass window portraying steel workers for the workplaces of the AciĆ©ries de Longwy, a metal mill in Longwy, France. The agency of Daum from the town of Nancy, which had been famous for its Art Nouveau glass, produced a line of Deco vases and glass sculpture, solid, geometric and chunky in kind.
